Barnacle- lots of articles in, should be a good issue. Deadline is dec 15th. Publication should be in beginning of Jan.
Human Resources-Should be receiving a written report from Cedric in a few days. What were his activities, job duties, etc? What worked, what didn't?
Should we use the leftover money from the gaming grant to hire a part-time coordinator? More discussion on this issue
Events: Solstice potluck, 21st of December. Who is responsible? For kids? For Clean up? Damage? We need a policy regarding the kids. Motion that we hire someone for potlucks and community building events; Lawrence will spend up to $50.00 to organize this. We will ask for donations at the event to help offset the costs. Goodwill- Magazine of amazing events and a plant were delivered to Dave Pollen by Sandy. It was much appreciated and he was pleased with all the well wishes sent his way.
Sandy also bought a journal for the community to write in about Jeff. S We will give this to Jeannie at his celebration. It will be at the café for a few days then down at the store.

A.G.M. -Jan 25th 05 tues 7:30pm, notice to the Peak and the Barnacle beginning of January.
Rianne has suggested that we do a membership drive before the A.G.M.
Brian will talk to Court Cressey about redoing the school sign to say community centre
Audit- Sandy will talk to Hilary Bruhn about this, costs?,when it can be done? Etc.
Facilities and Grounds: Request for a light out back, around the covered play area. The eaves are constantly plugged, pine needles mostly….these need to be dealt with.
Lawrence was in the crawl space and noticed some seepage on the south wall. This could be a serious expense and will need to go to the Regional District.
The lino tiles as you come in the front door are coming up approx 30-40 of them.
Suzan has volunteered to help Lawrence beautify the doorway to the café.
The regional district is waiting on a proposal from us with regards to the parking situation.

Monies from the café will go to Rianne until Jan 01st; she will put in the store safe.
New Business- Sandy would like to host a storytelling hour once a month from 12 -1 on a Sunday. The first one will be Sunday Jan 16th.

Hiring Committee; Jack Anderson, Camille Davidson. Get together to discuss job description, sometime in the New Year.
Terry Werner: is it possible to use a room in the community for beading business? This would be an opportunity for piece meal work for members of our community. The room would be used to manufacture the product not sell it. This will be tabled until April when Terry gets back.
